I was fortunate enough to work with children (0-18) for 30+ years. Their challenges ranged from babies born with drug addictions to teenagers in crisis.

As much as I loved working with little ones, I found I could make the most difference with troubled teens. I was armed with a very distinct set of rules and expectations. My methods were based on respect and humour. I use these methods as a basis for my company, BRATBUSTERS PARENTING SERVICES INC.  

I was a Parent Aide with Social Services in Australia which is a government service provided to families struggling to cope with the responsibilities and demands of having a newborn.  I was also a Learning Assistance Program Tutor for Grades 8-12 and have been involved with children in many organizations, hospitals and schools in both Australia and Canada.   

Of all the work I have done with babies, children and teenagers throughout the years, I have received the most fulfillment and happiness through raising my own two children.
